So far I have heard of the following being made into Live action by Hollywood

Evangellion
Akira
Ghost in the Shell
Cowboy Bebop

As I have just watched District 9 which had a very anime style Mech Suit in it, which was done really well and was totally convincing,
here is video of it in case you have not seen the film

It kinda give me hope that if the do a live action anime which features Mechs they can be done right.

Battle angel Alita - By James Cameron and he's a huge Alita fan...lol
Robotech

Course these are all the US big named movies in the works. Seems there are a ton coming out made in Japan now also. Oh and don't forget all the already known to be bad movies like tekken.

Ah forgot about Battle Angel and Robotech.

Still I have a horrible feeling they will flop and/or hollywood will mess them up.

Battle Angel should be safe because of James Cameron.

Why no Live action Hellsing, vampires are all the rage at the moment, lets have some real vampires not this twilight junk.
