Just started watching this, almost gave up straight away, it started with episode 0 which turned out to be a comical version of ep1, was not impressed, the main character keeps getting called noob/newbie all the time which makes it sound like some mmo game and the opening credits are modern day jap school kids.

Apparently it is based on a game so that kind of explains the noob speak but I think it does not fit, ep 1-3 were better than ep 0 seems to be a fantasy adventure with humor, as long as it does not get to silly it should be ok.

I've watched both seasons and I can tell you it gets very good, also get gets pretty serious, and goes away from the comedy quite a bit after a while.

Its kinda in depth, atleast to the point that its interesting, the main character develops quite alot.

Stick with it my friend! Smile

Thats good to know, I thinks it was just that first episode that kinda put me off, anidb says it is a season one special, I don't mind humor and that episode did have a funny tentacle attack on the female in the party, if I have seen this episode after finishing the first series I would have probably liked it.
