Set in Academy City, a city of scientifically advanced superhuman students known as Espers, but in a world where magic is also real.

Toma Kamijo's right hand, the Imagine Breaker, will negate all magic be it psychic or even divine powers, and even his own luck, so he has alot of misfortune.

He is also an Esper, but a level 0, which is the lowest possible, with level 5 being the highest known yet.


One day he finds a young girl ( Index ) hanging on his balcony railing.
She turns out to be a nun from the Church of England, and her mind has been implanted with the Index Librorum
Prohibitorum, all the magical texts the Church has removed from circulation.
Basically because every magic has a counter magic that can nullify its effect(s), and if that happend all magics could be negated.

Basically Espers, and Magicians collide with each other and battles break out, while we still don't know exactly what causes Toma's right hand to nullify all magics / Espers abilities.
( Which is alot like having the knowledge of the Librorum Prohibitorum index, knowing how to nullify everything. )

Review :

I like this Anime as it has a refreshing new sort of feel to it, and the story line is actually interesting!
Its not like some of those Animes where you can guess what is going to happen all the time.

I say if your looking for a good Anime to watch check this Anime out for sure, it can be funny, yet has a serious and solid story line.

As for a rating I don't want to quite yet, as the Anime is still ongoing and could have some twists and turns.

So I will keep you updated and announce when I have made my conclusion of a fair rating of this Anime.
